The study aimed to know the level of reading the science book and its relationship to the acquisition of scientific concepts for sixth-grade students in the Directorate of Education for the Irbid Kasbah. (Claus) test to find out the readability level of the science book for the sixth basic year through selected texts, and there are (6) texts, and prepared a test to measure the level of readability of scientific concepts, and a test to measure the acquisition of scientific concepts, from a multiple-choice type consisting of (30) paragraphs. The results of the study showed the ability of female students to read the scientific texts contained in the book, and their possession of reading skill, which lies at the independent, educational and frustrating level, as it was found that there is a strong direct correlation between the scores of readability test, and the scores of the test of acquiring scientific concepts. The study recommended that similar studies should be conducted for the current study in other subjects. (Author’s abstract)
