The study sought to analyze the intermediate art education textbooks at Kuwait in light of their inclusion level of Islamic decorative art. To achieve this objective, an analytical descriptive study design using a content analysis list was used. In doing so, a list containing domains on Islamic decorative art to be included in the targeted textbooks was developed, which contained (37) Islamic art domains covering (4) major domains (main decoration elements, applied decoration arts, calligraphy arts, Islamic architecture art) was used after validity and reliability were established. It was found in this study that the Islamic decorative arts frequency totaled (199) as the applied decorative arts ranked first (f=94, 47.23%), while calligraphy arts ranked last (f=16, 8.04%). The study results indicated that 9th grade intermediate art education textbook reported the highest frequency (f=18, 40.70%) of Islamic decorative art while the 6th grade intermediate art education textbook showed the least frequency (f=28, 14.07%). In light of these results, the study suggested some recommendations including the need for more consideration for the inclusion of intermediate art education textbooks for the Islamic decorative art and to focus on the main decoration, calligraphy arts, Islamic architecture art.
