The study aimed at recognizing the level of organizational identification and its relation to job performance of KG principals in Amman governorate, and effect of the variables: educational qualification, experience, type of sector, and work area on that; however, the correlational descriptive approach was used, and the study sample was composed of (386) KG teachers & (160) KG principals in the capital governorate of Amman-Jordan. An instrument was developed consisted of two themes, the first: assigned to measure the level of organizational identification of the KG principals from the teachers' perspective; the second: assigned to measure the level of job performance of the KG principals from their own perspective, whereby its validity and reliability were verified. On the other hand, the study results showed that the extent to which the KG principals exercise the organizational identification in the capital Amman are considered moderate; also, the results showed the presence of a statistically significant differences attributed to the effect of work area in all aspects for practicing the organizational identification by KG principals in the capital governorate of Amman from the teachers' perspective, in favor of Amman borough province, and in favor of AL-Jamaa province, and the lacking of a statistically significant differences ascribed to the variable of educational qualification, years of experience and type of sector in all aspects of organizational identification. Furthermore, the results found that the level of job performance of the KG principals was moderate, and showed, as well as, the presence of a statistically significant differences ascribed to the effect of sector type in all aspects of job performance of the principals, and, the differences came in favor of the governmental sector, except the area of relation with KG personnel and community, and the presence of a statistically significant differences ascribed to the effect of work area in favor of Amman borough and AL-JAMAA province and, the lacking of a statistically significant differences ascribed to the educational qualification and years of experience in all aspects of job performance of the principals; moreover, the results detected the presence of a positive relation between the extent to which the organizational identification is practiced and that of job performance of the KG principals in Amman governorate. However, the study suggested a group of recommendations including: paying attention to the organizational identification for its effective role in realizing job performance; and holding special courses for the KG principals with a view to raise their awareness about the concept of organizational identification and, how to activate it and, the extent of its effect on job performance and the attainment of organizational objectives.Key words: Kindergartens, organizational identification, job performance.
