فاعلية طريقة فيرنالد متعددة الحواس في تنمية مهارات تعرف الكلمة للتلاميذ ذوي صعوبات التعلم في المرحلة الابتدائية



The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of the Fernald’s multisensory method in developing word recognition skills for students with learning disabilities. The study used the experimental method through single subject designs by applying reverse design (AـBـA) on a sample of 3 students enrolled in the third grade in the elementary stage in Riyadh city. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers prepared a training program based on the method of multisensory. The results showed the effectiveness of this method to improve the word recognition skills among these students in the intervention phase. In addition the students were able to keep some words in the phase of withdrawal intervention. The study made recommendations based on its findings. (Published abstract)
