This study aimed at reducing violence behavior among juvenile delinquents using a counseling program based on reality therapy. Study sample consisted of (20) males placed in juvenile prison. There ages range between (15-18) years. They were divided into two groups, experimental and control, and each group consisted of (10) individuals. The researcher applied violence scale prepared by her, consisting of five dimensions; 1) verbal, 2) physical, 3) psychological, 4) violence against property, 5) cyber violence. The program consisted of (11) sessions, two sessions, per a week over a period of six weeks. After completing the sessions researcher re-applied the scale to the groups in order to assess effectiveness of the program in reducing violent behavior of juveniles’ delinquents. A month later the scale re-applied to experimental group (repeated measure). Results indicated effectiveness of the program in reducing violent behavior of juveniles’ delinquents. There were significant statistical differences between pre and the post tests of the experimental group. There were no significant differences between post- measurement and the follow-up measurement of the experimental group, that reflects the effectiveness of the program. The researcher suggested some recommendations, such as establishing a counseling unit in the juvenile prison; in addition to providing training courses for psychologists. (Author’s abstract)
