تقويم مستوى الأداء القرائي ببرنامج القرائية على ضوء معايير الدراسة الدولية لقياس تقدم التنور القرائي (pirls)
The current research aimed to evaluate the level of the literacy program reading performance in light of "PIRLS" international reading program standards. The study included 377 students in the fourth grade who were exposed to the reading program. To achieve this, the reading performance of the research sample was evaluated based on a "PIRLS" (2016) test model. The T-test was used, with a reference average of (60%) represents proficiency for each skill. The results indicated that fourth grade pupils who were exposed to the literacy program had poor reading skills compared to the International Study Skills standards (PIRLS). The research recommended that it is necessary to develop the guiding evidences used in the literacy program, and to add literacy skills and incoming tests models included in the international study (PIRLS); in order to develop those skills and to train the pupils for it.
