درجة استعداد أعضاء هيئة التدريس في الجامعة الأردنية للتدرب على استخدام أدوات التعلم الإلكتروني وعلاقتها ببعض المتغيرات
This study aimed to identify the degree of aptitude of faculty members at the University of Jordan towards training on the use of e-Learning tools and its relationship with some variables. The study population consisted of 1091 faculty members at the University of Jordan represented by all faculty ranks. The sample size of the study consisted of 285, which was chosen in a stratified random manner. A descriptive study has been carried out; where the researcher has developed and build a questionnaire and used items survey which consisted of three sections containing 45 items divided into three categories: Basic Skills of Using Computers and the Internet, Aptitude towards training on the use of e-Learning tools, and the Use of e-Learning tools. The study revealed several results: Faculty members’ aptitudes towards training on the use of e-Learning tools in their teaching practices at the University of Jordan was considered as a moderate degree with a total average score of 3.33. It has also recognized that there were no statistic variations (lack of statistically significant differences) at the level function of α=0.05 of the faculty members’ aptitudes between males and females faculty member in the three areas or sections of the questionnaire, which are “Basic Skills of Using Computers and the Internet”, “Aptitude towards training on the use of e-Learning tools”, and “the Use of e-learning tools”.
