إنطباعات الطلبة الجامعيين حول العداء للولايات المتحدة الأميركية : الواقع والرؤية المستقبلية
The present study aims at understanding the perceptions of students towards Anti-Americanism. In order to understand the nature and causes of anti-Americanism, the data gathered from a study conducted among (120) students from Jordan University and 10 experts in various disciplines. The research draws on perceptions gained through a quantitative and qualitative (Triangulation) research methods, this methodology used to gain knowledge by providing students with a voice in the complex debates surrounding the phenomena. The results reveal a clear distinction between culture and political Anti-Americanism. Also, the results showed that the majority of respondents had no hostility toward American people, culture, civilization, but they perceive Anti-Americanism activities negatively towards American foreign policy, they view the American policy as against Muslims. The research suggested many recommendations such as: America can do many things to improve its image in the eyes of Arab and Muslims people. (Published abstract)
