أنماط الهوية الذاتية وعلاقتها بمستوى الإكتئاب لدى الطلبة الفلسطينيين واليهود الجامعيين
This study aimed to reveal individual identity dimensions (DIDS) and its relationship with depression between Arab and Jewish university students. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher translated self-identity dimensions scale (DIDS, (Luyckx, 2008)) and depression scale (Radloff, 1977), into Arabic and Hebrow. The study relied on a linking descriptive approach. The study sample consisted of (392) students, including (88) students from the Palestinian students, and (304) Jewish students were chosen randomly stratified comparative of the study population0 the results of the study showed that the common dimension of self-identity among Palestinians is exploration in breadth and came with moderate level; while the common dimension of individual identity among Jewish university students is the commitment and came with high level. Moreover, the results of the study showed that the level of depression among Palestinians and Jewish university students was a moderate degree. (Author's abstract)
