فاعلية برنامج قائم على استراتيجيات التدريس العلاجي لتنمية السلوك الإجتماعي الإيجابي لدى التلاميذ المعاقين فكريا (القابلين للتعلم)

This research aims to develop positive social behavior among pupils (who are able to learn) with intellectual disability, through the use of remedial teaching strategies. The research sample consisted of (20) students with intellectual disability, who were divided into two experimental groups of (10) students And one control group of (10) students in the Al-Juffali Center in Unaizah Governorate in Al-Qassim, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Their ages ranged between (6: 12) years, while their mental age ranged between (4: 8) years, and their intelligence quotient (IQ) ranged between (55-70) .The research tool was Positive Social Behavior Scale (prepared by the researcher) and the program based on remedial teaching strategies to develop positive social behavior (prepared by the researcher).The program was applied on 20 sessions within a period of two months at the rate of 3 sessions a week and the session’s time is (30) minutes. The results indicated that there are statistically significant differences between the average ranks of the experimental group, on the positive social behavior scale in the pre and post measurements, in favor of the post measurement, and the presence of statistically significant differences between the average ranks of the experimental and control groups, in the post measurement on the Positive Social Behavior Scale, for the benefit of the experimental group. This confirms the effectiveness of the program based on the remedial teaching strategies used in this research; Which contributes to the development of positive social behavior among students who are able to learn with an intellectual disability.
