دور الجامعات الأردنية الحكومية في مكافحة ظاهرة الإرهاب من وجهة نظر الطلبة : جامعة البلقاء التطبيقية أنموذجا
This study aimed to identify the role of Jordanian government universities in combating terrorism from students’ perspective – Al-Balqa’ Applied University as a model. And to identify differences in the perceptions of students in light of the variables (gender, level of study, specialization), where the descriptive method was used, the study sample consisted of (378) bachelor's and master's students at Al-Balqa’ Applied University in Jordan, who were selected in a simple random sampling method, and in order to realize the differences in the perceptions of the students in light of the variables (gender, level of study and major). A questionnaire used to collect the data. And after processing the data, the study results indicated that the role of Al-Balqa’ Applied University in combating terrorism was in the medium level from students perspective. There were statistically significant differences at the level of (α = 0.05) in the perceptions of the students about the role of Al-Balqa’ Applied University in combating terrorism according to study level and the differences were in favor of the master level students, and there is no statistically significant differences according to gender and major. In light of the results some recommendations were suggested. (Published abstract)
