تصميمان لواجهة تفاعل التطبيقات التعليمية بالهواتف الذكية في بيئة التعلم النقال وأثرهما على التحصيل والحمل المعرفي لدى طالبات تكنولوجيا التعليم والمعلومات
This research is aimed at studying the effect of the two interface designs (list & grid) of instructional applications for smart phones in mobile learning environment on Instructional Technology and Information Students’ achievement and cognitive load. To that end, Researcher has reviewed literatures associated with research points, determine the design standards to be considered while designing the instructional application for smart phones with two interface designs (list and grid), and developed the instructional tasks list regarding to computer maintenance curriculum. Following these standards and implementing of Mohammed Atia Khamis’s (ISD) model (2007), she has developed the mobile learning environment and the instructional application for smart phones, with two different interface designs: the first interface design (list), and the second interface design (grid). Further, she has developed the research instruments which are: (pre/ post) Cognitive achievement test on computer maintenance curriculum and cognitive load scale; these instruments have been proved valid, stable and proper. Moreover, a research sample was composed of (27) student of fourth year, Instructional and Information Technology Department, Faculty of Women – Ain Shams University, has been selected and randomly divided into two experimental groups according to the interface design (list and grid); the first group was composed of (14) student while the second one was composed of (13) student. Researcher has conducted the research experiment and used the semi experimental design known as the design of two experimental groups with pre and post measurement, research instruments application, data collection and statistical processing. Results have concluded that there is no effect of the two interface designs of the instructional application for smart phones in mobile learning environment (list and grid) on the cognitive load. as well as the list interface design for the instructional application has the greatest effect on improving the achievement of students of the fourth year, Instructional and Information Technology Department. According to these results, Researcher offered a set of proper recommendations and suggestions. (Author’s abstract)
