العافية التكنولوجية وعلاقتها بالسعادة والتفاؤل لدى طلبة الجامعة الأردنية
The purpose of this study is to reveal the level of techno wellness (TW), happiness and optimism among bachelor’s degree students of the University of Jordan, and discover if there is a relationship in TW, happiness and optimism, also to discover the difference between TW, happiness and optimism according to variables gender (males, females) and faculty (the faculty of humanities, sciences and health). The study sample consisted of (450) male and female students; (194 males, 301 females), and (206 from faculty of humanities, 147 sciences, 97 health) registered for bachelor’s degree in the summer semester of 2017/2018 at the University of Jordan, they were selected in stratified random sampling to achieve the aims of the study the researcher developed three scales, techno wellness inventory (TWI), happiness scale and optimism scale, verified for validity and reliability. The results of this study show that the level of TW and happiness among students came at in average level, while the level of optimism was “high”. There is statistically significant positive correlation between TW, happiness and optimism, also the results show that there is statistically significant difference according to gender variable on the TW to male, and doesn’t reveal statistically significant due to gender on the happiness or optimism, finally the result didn’t reveal statistically significant differences due to faculty on any of the three variables.
