Research importance: Providing a guide for science teachers in the preparatory stage to teach scientific concepts in science books using the storytelling approach, Providing activity sheets to the pupil’s book that contain many scientific activities added to the activities of the science book to achieve a higher level of understanding of the scientific material. Research Tools: First: The Experimental Treatment Materials: A Teacher’s Guide for the experiment unit, A pupil’s activity sheet, A Multimedia-based scientific storytelling computer program. Second: Research Tools: Achievement test for the content of the selected unit, Test the understanding of the nature of science. Research limitations: This research was limited to the Basandila Preparatory School (for the experimental group) and the Demlash Preparatory School (for the control group) belonging to the Belqas Educational Administration in Dakahlia Governorate. The research was applied during the second semester of the first preparatory year 2017-2018 for (15) lessons taught for (4) weeks. Research methodology: The research followed the experimental approach of a quasi-experimental design of the experimental and control groups and this design is suitable for the current research variables. Research population and design: The research population consists of the first year preparatory pupils studying in governmental schools in Dakahlia Governorate. The research sample was (87) students; (43) students represent the experimental group and (44) students represent the control group. Research results: There is a statistically significant difference at the level of (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups in the achievement levels and the post total degree. There is a statistically significant difference at the level of (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups in the dimensions of the nature of the science and the post total degree.
