The problem of the study was determined by the weakness of high school students in creative writing composition skills, as well as the poor interest in high school students. Furthermore, the lack of enrichment programs offered to them in the Arabic language in general, and Creative Writing Composition Skills and the development of skills in particular, to suit their abilities, energies and potential, and raise their motivation. The problem of the study is also representing the need of the educational field for modern methods and strategies that can be used to develop these skills as an input to active learning and strategies. The study was based on the descriptive and quasi-experimental approach. To achieve the aims of the study, a questionnaire was constructed with the Creative Writing Composition Skills, the construction of a test to measure these skills, and A graduated scale to correct the test. An enrichment program based on active learning and a teacher guide were designed by the researcher for the program implementation. After applying the instruments of the study, the main results revealed the effectiveness of the proposed educational program based on learning, which is active in the development of creative writing skills of the high students in the Republic of Yemen.
