The purpose of this research is to explore the effect of using an educational blog for an enrichment study unit in geography to develop the skills of futuristic thinking and visual-spatial intelligence among high school students. The study specifically focuses on students of the first year of the secondary school. The sample of the study consisted of 45 female students of the first grade secondary secondary school Hikmah secondary girls in the city of Tanta/ Gharbia province, in the first semester of 2016/2017. Results: 1) There are statistically significant differences at 0.05 α between the average scores of the experimental group of students, and between the pre- and post-measurements to test the skills of the futuristic thinking as a whole, and each skill separately. The measurements were higher after the implementation of the intervention. 2) There are statistically significant differences at 0.05 α between the average scores of the experimental group of students, and between the pre- and post-measurements to test the visual-spatial intelligence skills as a whole and each skill separately. The measurements were higher after the implementation of the intervention. 3) There was statistically significant correlation at 0.05 α between students’ scores on the test of futuristic thinking skills and their scores on the visual-spatial intelligence test of secondary students in the post-measurements of the experimental group.
