The study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of the proposed training program in developing some social skills for mentally handicapped and learnable students. The sample consisted of a group of elementary students with mental disabilities whose intelligence score is less than (52-68) according to the Wechsler scale in Kuwait and between the ages of (6-9) years. The study found that there are statistical significant differences between the average grades of the experimental group grades on the social skills scale in the two measurements. There are also statistically significant differences between the mean grades of the experimental group and the control in the telemetry of the social skills in favor of the experimental group pupils. Demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed training program in developing some social skills for mentally handicapped and learnable students. (Author’s abstract)
