الإستقصاء التأملي القائم على بحوث العمل ودوره في تنمية التحصيل والتفكير التأملي في مادة العلوم لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الابتدائية
The research aimed at determining the role of Action Research -based- Reflective Inquiry in developing both achievement at levels of (Knowledge - comprehension - application) and Reflective thinking with these skills: (Meditation and Observation - Mistakes detection - Access to conclusions - Giving convincing explanations- Develop proposed solutions). To achieve that, the experimental method with the quasi-experimental design and Descriptive analytical method were used, achievement test, and Scale of reflective thinking were prepared, these tools were applied on a sample of (91) students of the 5th grade primary pupils distributed into two schools of educational Aga district at Dakahlia governorate, however, (47) pupils for the experimental group and (44) pupils for the control group, results showed the following: 1) There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group in the post-application of the achievement test for the experimental group. 2) There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group in the post- application of the scale of reflective thinking skills for the experimental group. 3) There is a positive correlation at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the academic achievement and reflective thinking skills of fifth grade students in science. 4) The reflective journal improved the teacher’s practices in classroom. 5) The reflective journal improved the pupils’ practices in classroom.
