The current research aims to: Determining the effectiveness of the project-based learning on supported by the Authentic assessment in developing problem solving skills in the subject of physics of the first grade secondary students. The Significance of the current research is as follows: Presenting the content of the physics material in the form of educational activities and scientific projects to help students to participate effectively in educational situations, Providing experts and developers of the physics curriculum in the secondary stage in a realistic and real assessment method, which is the Authentic assessment of the assessment of physics curricula, This research is in response to recent trends that call attention to the development of problem solving skills in physics. Current research uses the following two methodologies: Experimental Method: To identify the effectiveness of using the project method in developing problem solving skills in the physics students in the first grade secondary. The experimental group will study the two units determined by using the project method, while the control group will study the two units, Or later on both groups. Applying the research instruments pre or post to each of the two groups. To answer the research questions, the research proceeded according to the following procedures: For literature, research and foreign studies and Arabic related to the research variables, selection of the units of research (power and movement, circular movement regular) from the book of physics for the first grade secondary, Examination of the content of the unity of power and movement of the book of physics for the first grade secondary, Preparing the teacher’s guide in accordance with the project-based learning strategy.
