تدني التحصيل الأكاديمي وعلاقته بتقدير الذات لدى تلاميذ مرحلة الأساس - الحلقة الثانية - بمحلية شرق النيل



This research aims at identifying the relationship between the decline of academic learning and self- efficacy at the Basic Education School Level – Second Class pupils. The study was conducted in the school year 2013-2014. The researcher has used the descriptive-correlative approach. The research samples were chosen from second class pupils at the Basic Education School Level where a specimen of certain 40 pupils was chosen to participate in the study. The tools used in the research were self-efficacy and academic record measurements. The specimen was subjected to analysis by using Statistical Package for Social Science Method (SPSS). The research was concluded by a summary of the results along with some recommendations and proposals. A list of references and supplements were included. The researcher has made a number of conclusions, namely: 1) There is Statistical Functional link relation between total self- efficacy and the decline of academic performance; 2) The general features of self- efficacy in second class pupils at the Basic Education level at East Nile Locality are distinguished for its highness; 3) There were no Statistical Functional differences of family, school and friends’ efficacy and academic performance according to age variable; 4) There were no Statistical Functional differences of self, family, school and friends’ efficacy and academic performance according to class level variable; 5) There were Statistical Functional differences between self, family, school and friends’ efficacy and academic performance according to gender variable.
