The present study aimed to know the professional requirements for pronunciation practice’s teachers in deaf and hard of hearing programs: their importance and availability. And also, one of its important target is to know the differences between pronunciation practice’s teachers in the level of importance and availability of the professional requirements. The sample of the study included all (207) teachers (both male and female teachers) of pronunciation practice’s institutes and programs for the deaf and hard of hearing in Saudi Arabia. The study relied on the descriptive analytical approach, the researcher prepared the questionnaire as a data collection tool, this questionnaire consisted of (52) paragraphs divided into two focal points, the first talks about the importance and the second deals with availability. The results of the study showed that the members of the sample vary in importance and availability of professional requirements. Among the most important knowledge requirements that the teachers agreed on their importance are: diagnosis and evaluation of pronunciation problems in deaf and hard of hearing students. Training session management requirements: planning the individual educational program students, combine verbal and non-verbal communication skills in pronunciation exercises. Skill requirements: the correct pronunciation of the teacher, use simple language during pronunciation exercises for deaf and hard of hearing students. Personal requirements: patience while working, seriousness and enthusiasm for work, commitment to the ethics of the profession and easy language suitable. (Published abstract)
