This study aims to identify the level of cognitive load in middle level students, and the difference in cognitive load by gender. The sample consisted of (101) students at Mussa Teebi in Elamara, and answering the general question We used Nour Fadel's cognitive load scale, after confirming his psychometric characteristics on a sample of 70 students. The results manifest that students in the fourth grade have a cognitive load, and there is no difference in cognitive load by gender. In the end, recommendations were made based on our findings.
