The research aims to identify: 1) The effect of the use of Google applications on the studying of software engineering. 2) The effect of the use of Google applications on the students' tendency towards software engineering among students at the college of Education. To achieve the two goals of the research, the researcher developed the following zero theories: 1) There is no statistically indication difference at the level of indication (0.05) between the grades average of the experimental students group studied software engineering using Google applications and the grade average of the group used the traditional way. 2) There is no statistically indication difference at the level of indication (0.05) between the grades average of the experimental students group studied software engineering using Google applications and the grade average of the group used the traditional way in the scale of the tendency to study software engineering. The study group is selected from the Colleges of Education from Mustansiriyah, Baghdad, and Al-Iraqiyah universities as the Department of Computer, College of Education at the University of Mustansiriyah is chosen for the academic year (2018-2019). The department consists of three classes, two of which are chosen randomly and divided into experimental and traditional. The equivalence is calculated for changeable elements (such as; age in months, overall average, intellectuality, and educational level of parents). The research tools are the attainment test and the tendency scale. At the end of the experiment, the researcher used the appropriate statistical methods. The research concludes a difference in favor of the experimental group. In the light of the findings, the researcher draws several conclusions and suggests a set of recommendations and proposals. The researcher recommended the following: 1) The need to use Google applications in the teaching of software engineering for its significant role in achieving the interest of students towards the subject. 2) Not to confine the traditional method based on memorizing and indoctrination and follow strategies based on the integration of technology in education. 3) Training faculty members on how to use Google applications in teaching. To researcher proposed the following: 1) The conduction of similar researches for other materials. 2) The conduction of similar research for other stages of study. (Published abstract)
