This study aims at revealing the effect of a suggested training program based on emotional intelligence theory to improve gob satisfaction of school principals in Irbed first directorate of education and determining whether this effect differs due to sex, scientific qualification, practical experience or school level. To fulfill the aims of this study, A practical programme has been prepared to imorove the job satisfaction which included (24) practical sessions. An adequate test was prepared. The study sample consisted of (36) basic and secondary school principals were randomly chosen and distributed on two equal groups; experimental and control groups. They were divided into a pilot group consisting of (17) managers, managers and other officers, consisting of (19) managers and managers. The study found the following main results revealed that there were significant differences (α≤0.05) due to the training program and in all parts of questionnaire and the total score in favor of experimental group.
