أثر الإرشاد المعرفي السلوكي الجمعي في خفض الصعوبات السلوكية والانفعالية لدى عينة من الطالبات اللاجئات في الأردن
This experimental study sought to explore the impact of group cognitive behavioral counseling in reducing levels of behavioral and emotional difficulties among a sample of Iraqi and Syrian refugee female students in seventh and eighth grades enrolled in a public school in Amman, Jordan. The participants (n=40) were divided randomly into two groups, an experimental group (n = 20), who received counseling program based on the cognitive behavior therapy and a control group (n = 20) who didn't receive any counseling program. Results of pretest to posttest differences for the experimental and control groups on the study scale revealed that the treatment group compared to control group, was significantly more likely to have lower levels of behavioral and emotional difficulties. Furthermore, results of pre-post- follow-up tests comparisons for the experimental group showed that scores on the behavioral and emotional difficulties' scale, continued significantly to decline and to be lower at follow-up test.
