The aim of this study was to identify the teachers' assessments of the degree of the practice of secondary school principals in the Gaza governorates for administrative accountability in the light of variables: (gender, qualification, years of service, school district), the study used the descriptive approach, the researchers designed the "administrative accountability", it contains (29) paragraphs, the questionnaire was applied to a sample of (479) male and female teachers (206 males and 276 females), the study found that the average teachers' assessment of the degree of secondary school principals in the Gaza governorates for administrative accountability obtained a relative weight (81.04%), it was also found that there are no statistically significant differences between the average teachers' assessment of the degree of secondary school principals in the Gaza governorates for managerial accountability due to the variable (gender, qualification, years of service), while differences were statistically significant in the educational district variable for east Khan Younis and north Gaza. In the light of the results, the study recommended that training courses should be held for managers who need to raise their competencies in the exercise of managerial accountability and that the ministry establish clear administrative accountability mechanisms to assist managers in their work.
