مستوى تحقق قيم القبول في جامعات منطقة الرياض في ضوء مشروع القبول الموحد
This study aimed to determine the level of attainment of the value-based admissions from the point of view of the Unified Admission Project at the universities of the Riyadh region, as perceived by the applicants for admission to those universities. It also aimed at identifying the differences between the responses of the study sample towards the attainment level attributed to the differences in the variables of gender and major, and the result of the admissions. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was developed by the researcher. It consisted of 44 items distributed to seven admission standards. After verifying the validity and reliability, the questionnaire was applied to a random sample of 3061 students. The results of the study showed a moderate level of fulfilling admission standards at the universities of the Riyadh region. The study also indicated statistically significant differences in the level of fulfilling admission standards, which was attributed to the result of the admission variable, in favor of the students who were admitted. Similarly, statistically significant differences were also observed in the level of fulfilling admission values that were attributed to the gender variable, in favor of the male students. On the other hand, no statistically significant differences were observed in the level of fulfilling admission standards attributed to the student's major. (Published abstract)
