The present research aimed at identifying staff exchanged awareness with psychological contract between each other and the university and the level of this commitment in relation to university organizational political behavior. It also aimed at setting a reasoning model that explains university and staff commitment with psychological contract on organizational political behavior. The study utilized the descriptive design and two instruments were used over a sample of (119) staff member at South Valley University. Key results included: A high degree of staff awareness (4.41655, 4.489445) regarding their psychological contact and towards the university respectively. University commitment (2.62265) was in a medium level and staff commitment towards the university was also medium (2.758174) and the organizational political behavior was medium (3.400358). There is a positive correlational relation between staff self-psychological commitment and towards university. There is a positive relationship between theirs and university commitments towards the psychological contract. There are statistically significant differences between their awareness of psychological contracts and their commitment favoring contracts contentment awareness. There is a negative correlation between university commitment and staff to psychological contracts and organizational political behavior. There is a statistically significant mean difference between participants' responses towards psychological contracts dimensions’ commitment and organizational political behavior due to gender, field of study and degree. Results led to setting a reasoning model that indicates the direct negative effect of university and staff commitment with psychological contracts on the organizational political behavior. There are statistically significant mean differences between sample responses towards the psychological contracts and political behavior and that staff commitment with their psychological contracts towards the university affects as a medium variable on the relation between university commitment with its psychological contract towards them and the organizational political behavior.
