The purpose of this research is to develop teaching competencies through a training program based on the training / vocational needs of the teachers of social studies at Helwan educational administration through a proposed remedial program based on training / professional needs. The sample consisted of (25) Helwan educational. The researcher prepared a list of the teaching competencies that must be acquired by the teachers during the training period so that they will apply in their teaching processes later also a questionnaire to identify the training needs of the teachers of the research sample during their training at the official sunrise school of Helwan educational administration during the first semester 2017-2018. The researcher also prepared the teaching competencies / pedagogical scales and the orientation towards in-service training. The research tools were judged by presenting them to a number of specialized experts. The research found the following results: 1) there is a difference of statistical significance at the level (0.01) between the average scores of the teachers experimental group of the research sample in the application of tribal and ultra-scale of their the teaching competencies. 2) There is a difference of statistical significance at the level (0.01) between the average scores of teachers’ experimental group experimental sample in the application of tribal and cross-scale of the trend towards in-service training. 3) The size of the impact of the training program in light of the needs of the training teachers to more than (0.8) when measured by the equation of the box (n2) in the development of the teaching competencies.
