أثر التعلم ذي المعنى في تنمية التحصيل العلمي في مجال الرياضيات : المرحلة الثانوية في اليمن نموذجا



The objective of this research is to know the impact of the meaningful learning model "Advanced organizing strategy" in developing Educational attainment in Mathematics field for the first grade of secondary school in Yemen. To achieve this goal, an achievement test was built. After making sure of the sincerity and persistence of the tools, it was applied to a sample of (100) female student, they were distributed into two groups, the first was the experimental group which was taught by using meaningful learning model (advanced organizing strategy), and the control group which was taught using the traditional method. Taking into account the equality of the two groups concerning the educational attainment, a pre-test was applied to the two groups, which proved that both groups are equal. The statistical software (SPSS) was used in the technical gadgets stage and testing the hypotheses. The research came up with the following results: the students of the experimental group who were taught using the advanced organizing strategy outperformed the students of the control group who were taught using the traditional method in terms of the educational attainment in the three measured levels, which are: (remembering - understanding and comprehension - application).
