This study aims at developing a group counseling program that integrates social responsibility and practices, and investigating its effectiveness in developing and enhancing social responsibility among a sample of juvenile delinquents residing at a correction center in Oman. The study employed the quasi-experimental approach of one experimental group owing to the limited number of participants and challenges in getting access to them. In all, 10 youth participated in the study. Statistical analysis yielded means and standard deviations of the experimental group to test the level of social responsibility in the pre-test, post-test and follow-up- test phases of the program. Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test was used to verify the statistical significance of the differences between the scores of social responsibility among experimental group members. The results of the study revealed that there were statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) in social responsibility between the pre-test and post-test scores. Also, the results of the study showed that there were no statistically significant differences between post-test and follow-up scores of social responsibility. (Published Abstract)
