The phonetic’ contribution in lecture learning in Arabic Reading acquisition needs a teacher’s perfect mastery of both phonetic systems Arabic and French, in order to intervene in the phonetic correction with facility. Concerning the learner, he should be able to identify, to discriminate a sound with another, to recognize according to articulatory and acoustic features. A relevant care, an appropriate accompaniment, a mentoring programme with consolidation exercises will allow the learner an acceptable and intelligible reading acquisition. (Published abstract)
