The aim of the present study is to find out the effect of learning outcomes on the performance of university students to keep pace with the labor market from their point of view and employers’ point of view as well, by answering the following questions: How do King Khalid graduates acquire Knowledge, cognitive skills, communication skills, personal skills, and work skills from their point of view? How do King Khalid graduates possess knowledge, cognitive skills, communication skills, interpersonal skills, and work skills, to an acceptable level from the perspective of employers? What is the current reality of learning outcomes required for King Khalid graduates? How can the learning outcomes of King Khalid University's program be designed to provide graduates with an acceptable level of skills required for the labor market in the light of global trends? What is the proposed scenario for the design of learning outcomes required for the labor market in the light of global trends and local requirements? The present study aims to continuously evaluate the performance of students in the light of specific rules and clear compatibility with learning outcomes and the use of teaching and learning strategies that enable students to acquire learning outcomes. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method, as description is considered as a cornerstone of scientific research, and the descriptive method is the most important methods used in it. The questionnaire of the graduates about the university was applied to a random sample of the graduates of King Khalid University who were not selected in the sample of the rationing of tools (150), and the number of completed forms (132). The sample size of the employers’ questionnaires was 100, the number of completed forms was 68. A survey tool was used to show the graduates views about the university. After reviewing the literature and the previous studies, paragraphs of the questionnaire were written in five dimensions with a total of 37 paragraph. These includes the following areas and skills concerned about the university graduates.: Knowledge, Cognitive Skills - Communication Skills - Personal Skills, Work Skills). The results were as follow: 1) 53% of the respondents agreed that their studies at the university did not help them to master the English language (if required for work). 2) 48.5% of the respondents agreed that their studies at the university did not contribute to the proficiency of using the computer and its applications effectively. 3) King Khalid University graduates has acquired the skills (knowledge - cognitive skills - communication skills - personal skills - work skills) at an average level from their point of view. 4) King Khalid University graduates has acquired skills (knowledge - cognitive skills - personal skills - total average skills) at an average level from the point of view of recruitment agencies. 5) There were no statistically significant differences between the average grade of King Khalid University graduates and their employment destinations on the level of skills (knowledge - personal skills) they gained from their studies at the university.
