دور مديري المدارس الأساسية في مديرية تربية بني كنانة في تعزيز المهارات القيادية لدى الطلبة من وجهة نظر المعلمين
This study aimed to identify the role of Basic schools principals in Bani Kenanah Education Directorate in promoting the students' leadership skills. The study was based on the descriptive approach, and the sample was all the principals in Bani kananah which consisted of (66) principals of the basic schools there role in promoting leadership skills were evaluated by a randomized teachers sample from theirs schools by answering the questionnaire prepared to measure the role of principals in promoting the leadership skills of students. The results showed that the role of principals in promoting the student's leadership skills came at a high level, the most high field was for the management skills followed by personal skills, and finally came the social skills and communication skills and the total degree of the questionnaire was high too. The results indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in all study fields: management skills, social skills, communication skills and personal skills, and the total degree of the questionnaire according to gender, scientific qualifications and specialization variables. In addition, the results revealed that there were statistically significant differences in the field of communication skills and the total degree of the questionnaire according to the experience variable in favor of more than (10) years while no differences appeared in the fields of management skills, social skills, and personal skills. The results discussed in the light of literature and the empirical evidence. And it came out with a number of recommendations, most notably the need to hold workshops on the role of school principals in promoting the leadership skills of the students, because these skills are important to students.
