The study attempts to reveal the relationship of religiosity to psychological compatibility among a sample of university students. In order to achieve this objective, the study relied on the Descriptive Correlative Approach because it better fits the nature of the study that the researcher is currently carrying out. The study was applied to a sample of 75 students who were randomly selected. It included 39 female and 36 male second year students from the Humanities and Social Sciences Institute, specialized in Philosophy, Sociology and History. The study used two measures: the first took as basis the study of Religiosity by Salih Bin Ibrahim al-Sanae (2002) - after its modification - and the second, Ijllal Mohamed Sara’ measure of General Psychological Compatibility (1986). The following statistical methods were used to verify the study hypotheses: First, Pearson Correlation Coefficient to determine whether there was a statistically significant correlation between religiosity and psychological compatibility. Second, Test "T" was adopted to detect whether there were any significant differences between males and females’ psychological and religious compatibility. And finally, an analysis of variance, using the "Fa" test, to detect the existence of statistically significant differences between different disciplines in psychological compatibility and religiosity. The research resulted in the following: 1) there is a positive relationship between religiosity and psychological compatibility. 2) there are no statistically significant differences between males and females in religiosity and psychological compatibility. 3) there are no statistically significant differences in religiosity and psychological compatibility among students of different disciplines.
