أثر استخدام استراتيجية رواية القصص الإلكترونية في تدريس القراءة في تنمية مهارات الفهم القرائي لدى دارسي اللغة العربية الناطقين بغيرها

This research aimed at identifying the effectiveness of Digital Storytelling Strategy in teaching reading on reading comprehension for non-native speaker Arabic language learners. The sample consisted of (50) students of the third level of the Arabic language students of non-native speakers in Arabic Linguistics Institute at King Saud University, divided into two groups: experimental group (25) students, and control group (25) students. The researcher prepared the following educational materials and evaluation tools: a list of the appropriate reading comprehension skills for the third level students, the digital stories, and a reading comprehension skills test. The validity and reliability of these tools were confirmed. The findings showed the effectiveness of digital Storytelling strategy in developing reading comprehension skills for research sample. Also the research presented a number of recommendations for using Digital Storytelling Strategy on developing other language skills. (Published abstract)
