برنامج تدريبي لصياغة مفردات الاختيار من متعدد وأثره في الاتجاه نحو بناء الاختبارات التحصيلية
Due to the results of previous studies which indicated that there are multiple errors made by constructors of achievement tests in writing multiple choice questions (MCQ), as well as the results indicated by the pilot study done on the fourth year students in psychology at the faculty of education in Minia University which indicated the multiplicity of these errors, this study was initiated. This research aims to prepare a training program for those students on the skills and rules of writing MCQ and see the impact of this program on attitude towards construction of achievement tests. For this purpose a list of rules of writing MCQ was built, and a scale of attitude towards constructing achievement tests in addition to training program. Quasi-experimental approach based on the design of a single group was used, the results indicated a low level in students’ ability in construct MCQ before training, this level was 53.914%, as well as the level of attitude toward constructing achievement tests before training was neutral, it was 64.613%, and there was a positive correlation between students’ abilities in writing MCQ and attitudes towards constructing achieve¬ment tests. The results also indicated that there was statistically significant difference between means of students’ abilities in writing MCQ before and after training, in favor of abilities after training, in addition to a statistically significant difference between means of students’ attitudes towards construction of achievement tests before and after training in direction of mean of attitudes after training, the researcher recommended that there should be more time to train students on rules of writing MCQ during their study in faculty of education, and there is need of work on developing attitudes towards constructing achievement tests.
