This study aimed to investigate the availability of the necessary competencies for teachers of al-Qabas kindergarten to carry out psychological counseling for children and find out the differences in the degree of owning the competencies necessary to carry out the counseling due to variables: years of experience, training and specialization. The total number of community study in al-Qabas kindergartens in Khartoum State 80 teacher were selected as a intended sample and researcher followed the descriptive method. A questionnaire prepared by the researcher was applied statistical data analyzed by using statistical social packages and the study found the following results: Competencies necessary are available to carry out psychological counseling for children with teachers in al-Qabas kindergartens moderately. There are significant differences in Competencies necessary are available to carry out psychological counseling for children with teachers in al-Qabas kindergartens depending on the variable training courses. There are significant differences in Competencies necessary are available to carry out psychological counseling for children with teachers in al-Qabas kindergartens depending on years of experience. There are significant differences in Competencies necessary are available to carry out psychological counseling for children with teachers in al-Qabas kindergartens depending on the variable of specialization. The researcher recommended several recommendations including: Training follow-up process during the service in light of the entrance competencies. Also the researcher suggested several proposals, including: the effectiveness of a counseling program on the competencies required for teachers in Al-Qabas kindergartens to carry out psychological counseling for children.
