This study aimed to identify the level of psychological stresses for teachers in the basic schools, at Omdawnban and its relationship with some demographic variables such as (gender, marital status, housing). To achieve this goal the researcher used the descriptive method Correlative, the total sample size of 100 teachers (49 males 51 females) were chosen as a random sample , the psychological stresses test applied to the sample was prepared by Amani wad, and changed by the researcher . The data was analyzed by statistical Package for the Social Sciences program (SPSS) .the study following results were: 1) characterized by psychological stress for teachers of basic schools high level. 2) There are statistically significant differences in the level of psychological stresses for teachers of basic schools due to the variable gender (male, female) in favor of females. 3) There are statistically significant differences in the level of psychological stresses for teachers of basic schools due to the variable marital status (married, not married) in favor of married. 4) There are statistically significant differences in the level of psychological stresses for teachers of basic schools due to the variable housing (Freehold, rent) for the rent. At the conclusion of the study the researcher made some recommendations and suggestions find the most important reasons for the high psychological stresses faced by teachers. (Author’s abstract)
