The aim of this study was to find out the attitudes of psychology students in government universities in the state of Khartoum towards the counseling work, The researcher followed the analytical descriptive method and used a questionnaire to measure the attitudes towards the counseling work (prepared by the researcher) and applied to a sample of (180) students who were selected as a random sample, the results of the study were as follows: The attitudes of psychology students at Khartoum State universities toward the counseling work are positive and there are statistically significant differences in the attitudes towards the counseling work among psychology students in government universities in the state of Khartoum according to the gender variable in favor of male and there are no statistically significant differences in the attitudes towards the counseling work among psychology students in government universities in the state of Khartoum according to academic level and there are no statistically significant differences in the attitudes toward counseling work among psychology students in government universities in the state of Khartoum according to the university variable. Based on the results, the researcher presented a number of recommendations and proposals, the most important of which are: To give attention to creating the conditions for counseling work among university students for all disciplines to solve the educational, psychological and social problems.
