The aim of this research was: 1) Detection of the effectiveness of a training program based on some behavior modification techniques with the participation of mothers in reducing some behavioral problems Upon a sample of autistic children. 2) The effectiveness of the program in increasing the autistic children mothers’ knowledge in behavior modification techniques. 3) The impact of mothers’ participation in training to reducing behavioral problems. 4) Investigation how the continued effectiveness of the program after the end of the application. To achieve these goals, the researcher used a quasi-experimental approach and designed a special measurement to mothers knowledge of behavior modification techniques, and the measurement of behavioral problems in children with autism, four-Levels included to answer (strongly agree, agree, disagree, strongly disagree), and the training program. The program has been applied, on 10 children and 10 mothers, five of them were involved in training to measure the effectiveness of participation. The results of the study indicated the following: 1) There was statistically significant difference at α≤0.05 Between mean scores of the mothers in both experimental group and control group of knowledge in behavior modification techniques after the application of the training program. 2) There was statistically significant difference at α≤0.05 between the mean scores of Children in the experimental group on a scale behavioral problem before and after the application of the program. 3) There was statistically significant difference at α≤0.05 between mean scores of the children of mothers in the experimental group and the mean scores of the children of mothers in the control group on a scale behavioral problem after the application of the program. 4) There was no statistically significant difference at α≤0.05 between the mothers mean scores in the experimental group at knowledge in behavior modification methods in the post measurements and follow up. 5) There was no statistically significant difference at α≤0.05 between the mean scores of the children of mothers in the experimental group on a scale behavioral problem in the post measurements and follow up.
