The research aims to identify the correlation between emotional separation between spouses as adolescents realize it, and between depression and anxiety that they have, in addition to the statement of the differences in depression and anxiety among a research sample depending on the sex variable (male- female), academic specialization (scientific- literary). The problem of the research: The problem of the research can be summarized in the following question: Is there a correlation between emotional separations between spouses as adolescents realize it and between depression and anxiety they have? Research questions: 1) What are the levels of emotional separation between spouses as adolescents realize it in a search sample? 2) What are the levels of depression among the search sample? 3) What are the levels of anxiety among the search sample? Research hypotheses: 1) There is no statistically significant Correlation between the emotional separation between spouses as adolescents realize it and between depression they have. 2) There is no statistically significant Correlation between the emotional separation between spouses as adolescents realize it and between anxiety they have. 3) There are no statistically significant differences in the mean scores of males and the mean scores of females on the questionnaire of emotional separation between spouses as adolescents realize it. 4) There are no statistically significant differences in the mean scores of males and the mean scores of females on the depression scale. 5) There are no statistically significant differences in the mean scores of scientific students and the mean scores of literary students on the depression scale. 6) There are no statistically significant differences in the mean scores of males and the mean scores of females on the anxiety scale. 7) There are no statistically significant differences in the mean scores of scientific students and the mean scores of literary students on the anxiety scale. The research sample: The research sample consisted of 540 in the governorate of Damascus, it was withdrawn from the state secondary schools in the governorate of Damascus, representing 5% of the population, it was selected randomly. Research tools: 1) A questionnaire of emotional separation between spouses as adolescents realize it, prepared by the researcher. 2) The depression scale prepared by Al Jubouri (2010). 3) Taif Hospital anxiety scale prepared by Dulaimi et al. (1992). Research results: 1) Adolescents realize the emotional separation between their parents as follows: moderate rate of 50.74%, low intensity 25%, high intensity 24.26%. 2) The rate of adolescents who have depression reached moderate rate of 46.11%, low-intensity 26.48%, high intensity 27.41%. 3) The rate of adolescents who have anxiety reached moderate rate of 49.07%, low-intensity 25.37%, high intensity 25.55%. 4) There is no correlation between the emotional separation between spouses as adolescents realize it and between depression they have. 5) There is no correlation between the emotional separation between spouses as adolescents realize it and between anxiety they have. 6) There are no significant differences in the mean scores of males and the mean scores of females on the questionnaire of emotional separation between spouses as adolescents realize it. 7) There are no significant differences in the mean scores of males and the mean scores of females on the depression scale. 8) There are statistically significant differences in the mean scores of scientific students and the mean scores of literary students on the depression scale in favor of literary students. 9) There are significant differences in the mean scores of males and the mean scores of females on the anxiety scale in favor of females. 10) There are statistically significant differences in the mean scores of scientific students and the mean scores of literary students on the anxiety scale in favor of literary students.
