This study aimed to identify the teachers’ participation for decision-making in schools of Côte d’Ivoire. The study should determine the effectiveness of their participation in ensuring the develop of their professional performance, and to reveal the most important obstacles that they have been faced in such participations. The study employed descriptive method of enquiry through the use of structured questionnaire for data collection. This questionnaire contains three axes distributed into (41) words with (219) teachers as the required sample from the total population. The results of the study showed that the degree of teachers’ participation for decision making in schools of Côte d’Ivoire came (medium), whereby the overall mean of the axis (3.03). Hence, the degree of effectiveness of teachers’ participation in making school decisions to ensure the develop of their professional performance is (high), and the overall mean of the axis is (4.10). Therefore, the degree of obstacles in the teachers’ participation for making school decisions is also (high). Thus, the overall mean of the axis is (3.45). The study also recommended the strengthening of the concept of teacher’s participation in making school decisions. A delegation of powers and responsibilities should be made to teachers in order to build confidence of the school administration that may positively affect their professional performance.
