أثر توظيف استراتيجية التمثيل الجزئي في تنمية مهارات كتابة المعادلات والتفكير البصري بالكيمياء لدى طالبات الصف الحادي عشر
The difficulties faced by the students in the study of chemistry is probably attributable to the abstract nature of this course, as it contains equations and formulas and theoretical problem solving. However, as a result of progress in various fields, solutions for many incurable difficulties including the abstract nature of chemistry have emerged. This showed a modern trend namely constructivism in teaching strategies of chemistry that emphasize the building of understanding of which molecular representation of the material is only one strategy. The purpose of the study: to know the impact of the employment of molecular representation strategy in the development of writing equations and visual thinking skills among eleventh grade students of chemistry. Study tools: Writing chemical equations skills test, and the test of visual thinking skills. The researcher used the quasi-experimental approach. The study was applied to a sample of eleventh grade students in Khan Younis Secondary School for Girls whose numbers is (72) female students. The most important findings of the study: there are statistically significant difference at (0.5≥α) between the mean scores of the students in the experimental group and that of the control group in posttest skills in writing chemical equations and test of visual thinking in favor of the experimental group subjects. Recommendations: The need to develop and prepare training programs and workshops to train chemistry teachers on the use of molecular chemistry representation strategy in the implementation of lessons and teaching visual thinking in addition to securing all facilities needed for this.
