دور نظم المعلومات الإدارية المحوسبة في تحسين الأداء الوظيفي في الكليات المتوسطة : الكلية الجامعية للعلوم التطبيقية نموذجا
This study aims at identifying the role of the computerized management information systems in improving the job performance in the colleges; (The University College of Applied Sciences as a model). So; to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher had designed, and developed a questionnaire consisting of (56) items in order to collect data and measure the variables of the study. The questionnaire was distributed to a sample consisted of (258) staff (a comprehensive survey method had been used ), where (236) questionnaires were received, the statistical packages (SPSS) was adopted in this study, using the following statistical methods: coefficient Spearmen correlation, retail midterm coefficient, Cronbach's alpha coefficient, averages and standard deviations, T.test, and analysis of variance test. This study had many findings, where the most important one was that the requirements of the computerized management information systems (hardware, software, human, and organizational) have high efficiency from the perspective of the respondents, and there is statistically significant relationship between the computerized management information systems and the job performance in the University College of Applied Sciences -Gaza. The study also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences on "the role of the computerized management information systems in improving the job performance in the colleges (The University College of Applied Sciences as a model) due to demographic variables (gender, age, educational qualification, job type) with a difference due to years of experience. The study concluded a set of recommendations, where the most prominent of them are: 1) Working to update the software to meet the needs of work at the college, so that the software covers all activities undertaken by the departments in the college. 2) Developing the capabilities of persons working in the system by continuing raise of their technical and managerial competence, such raising the English language skills of some of the staff of the University College. 3) Developing and updating the network equipment and systems so that it becomes appropriate to the future work needs ) Developing a computerized management information system which gives the opportunity for subordinates to express their opinions and give them the opportunity to participate in decision-making. 5) Skipping the administrative and physical obstacles that limit the use of modern technology in the field of information systems, taking into account the size and nature of the work to determine the quality of the equipment used in light of standard cost. 6) Establishing a manual guide of the procedures on how to use the current system, this guide must be easy and compatible with the mechanisms of work and is updated periodically.
