This study aims at eliciting the teachers’ perspectives on the reality of transformational leadership practices among principals of Secondary Public Schools in Amman, Analytical descriptive approach was used to achieve the study objectives based on a random sample of (335) teachers. The findings of the study revealed a descending order of the dimensions of the transformational leadership practices as follows: inspirational stimulation, intellectual motivation, ideal affect, and individual consideration, Also, the findings suggested that the dimensions of the importance of transformational leadership practices are ranked in descending order as follows: individual consideration, intellectual motivation, Inspirational stimulation, ideal affect. Finally, the findings of the study revealed no statistically significant differences with regard to all the study’ variables, whereas there are statistically significant differences regarding the importance of transformational leadership practices to the educational experience variable in favor of the educational experience category (11 years and more). The study recommended that employees should participate in shaping the future vision of their schools as this would encourage them to take wide responsibilities in implementing this vision.
