أثر استخدام الطريقة التواصلية المدعمة بالفيديو على مهارات المحادثة والدافعية لدى متعلمي اللغة الانجليزية كلغة أجنبية في الصف العاشر في الأردن.
This study aimed at investigating the effect of video mediated communication on the tenth grade students' speaking skills and motivation. The participants of the study consisted of 38 tenth grade female students at Rawdat Basma Secondary School for Girls. They were in two sections; section one consisted of 20 students. It comprised the control group .it was taught the course content using regular instruction from the textbook, while two consisted of 18 students. It was assigned as an experimental group and it was taught using video mediated communication. The instrument of this study were pre and post test and post questionnaire that aimed at measuring students' speaking skills and motivation as a result of using video mediated communication. The findings of the study revealed that the experimental group students in this study improved their speaking skills and motivation. All in all, the study demonstrated that the use of video mediated communication in teaching and learning English had a positive effect on students' speaking skills and motivation. (Author’s abstract)
