Introduction: Scholastic e-press plays an important role in student life as a school activity that present the different kind of skills and information. As we live in the digital age. Aims: This study aims to high light the role of scholastic e- press and investigate its role in enhancing the information literacy between preparatory and secondary school students. Method: The study followed media survey method as a scientific effort to get the information, and all data about the problem of the study. Sample: The sample contains 336 units from students practice scholastic e-press in Egyptian schools. Instruments: We depend on Questionnaire form to collect data about the role of scholastic e-press in enhancing students’ Information literacy. Results: The study results prove validity of hypotheses, the main results of the study include: 85.9% of students assure that the Internet is the easiest way to get information. That Scholastic e-journalism plays an important role in the definition of electronic sources of information over the Internet admitted by 82.6% of students. The most important sources of information students use and identify through Scholastic e-journalism are represented in Internet that comes in first place used by 92.5%, followed by the school radio, that comes in second place used by 85.7%, then the library, in third place 83.1%, then the television in fourth place 80.9%, and newspapers in fifth place 79.4%, and finally the officials in the sixth place 76.7%. 84.7% of students assure that scholastic e-journalism contributes enabling the students to acquire skills of searching for information. 82.9% of students assure that scholastic e-journalism is one of activities that contribute developing the students’ information literacy. 85.4% of students assure that scholastic e-journalism contributes increasing the ability to link between new information and previous knowledge of students.
