أثر استخدام استراتيجية دورة التعلم المعدلة في اكتساب المفاهيم النحوية وتحسين التفكير الاستدلالي لدى طلاب الصف العاشر الأساسي في الأردن
This study aimed to investigate the effect of using Modified Learning Cycle Strategy on the Acquisition of Grammatical Concepts and improvement of the Indicative Thinking for the Tenth Grade students in Jordan. The researcher selected the study sample by the intentional method; a total of (65) student from the tenth grade of Almuthanna bin Harith Comprehensive secondary school of the Directorate of Education of Irbid Kasbah District for the academic year 2014/2015. The study sample was randomly distributed into two groups: an experimental groups of (32) students, and a control group of 33 students. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher established the study tools, namely: the grammatical concepts acquisition test, the improvement of the indicative thinking test and the teacher guide for teaching the grammatical concepts guide. Both tests were verified in terms of their validity and consistency and then applied to an exploratory sample from outside the study sample. The researcher selected three topics from the language grammar and applications book (Maf'oul Li'ajleh, Maf'ooul Fihi, Maf'oul Ma'ho); the researcher applied the pre-test and post-test method for both tests of the study sample, then he calculated the means and standard deviations for the students' marks using the associated ONE-WAY ANOVA. Further, this study attempted to answer the following two questions: 1. What is the effect of using Modified Learning Cycle Strategy on the Acquisition of Grammatical Concepts for the Tenth Grade students in Jordan? 2. What is the effect of using Modified Learning Cycle Strategy on the improvement of the Indicative Thinking for the Tenth Grade students in Jordan? The study findings revealed the following: 1. There is significant difference between the means of the students' marks on the grammatical concepts acquisition test attributed to the way of teaching in favor to the modified learning Modified cycle which outweighed the usual way group; 2. There is significant difference between the means of the students' marks on the improvement of the indicative thinking test attributed to the way of teaching in favor to the modified learning Modified cycle which outweighed the usual way group. In light of the study findings, the researchers recommended to conduct further studies to determine the effectiveness of the modified learning cycle strategy in the teaching the all other branches of the Arabic language based on the contemporary criteria.
