This research aims at identifying the effectiveness of the science syllabus set for the eight class of the basic stage in Sudan it describes the educational objectives. Be achieved through identifying the points of weakness in the syllabus in an attempt to raise the scientific level of the learner. The population of the research is all the male and female teachers of Khartoum basic stage (190 all male and female teachers). The researcher has chosen 138 of them to represent the research sample. The researcher made use of the quaestionnaire in collecting data, and the SPSS in processing them statistically. The most important findings were: 1) the science syllabus of the eight class of Sudanese basic stage has a great effectiveness in realizing the educational objectives. 2) The standards of the modern academic trends are available in the science syllabus of the eight class of the basic stage. 3) The educational methocs are not correctly use in teaching the syllabus. 4) The obstacles facing the teaching of the syllabus were lack of the appropriate educational methods, poor training of teachers, the low economic income of the learners; the school’s environment is unfavorable.
